E-Learning computer labs enhance learning opportunities for Tanzanian students
Mwadui Lutheran Secondary School has recently introduced the E-learning technology program to their students. They were proud to host Swedish visitors representing the Christian Social Services Commission (CSSC) to see the program in action.
E-learning program is an electronic system of learning different subjects like Mathematics, English, History etc. Materials presented in the program include videos, content notes, and photos. It enables a student to learn, get different quizzes, tests and allow discussions in groups. It helps students gain wide knowledge through reading, listening and seeing and prepares students for learning in today’s environment.
Eric Funke, a missionary teacher, is the Information Technology instructor at Mwadui Lutheran. He and Sundi Machupa labored long hours and through several implementation issues to bring this program to the students.
Headmaster, Pastor Yohana Nzelu, praised their efforts and dedication to bring the high standard of learning and teaching to this school. “It’s really impressive and encourages both teachers and students said”
