Dedication of Ascension Church of Shabuluba, TZ… 2019 church plant
A church plant by the 2019 mission team including members of Ascension Lutheran church from Wichita, KS purchased the land for this church plant. The 2019 mission trip resulted in Tinde region resulted in over 1140 baptized and two churches started.

Evangelism on the annual trips to Tanzania is more of a church planting project. The LCMS has a partnership with the Lutheran church in Tanzania. They are educating pastors, building churches, evangelizing, and disciplining the Tanzanian population. Bush evangelism is only the introduction.
