Father Bishop Dr. Daniel Mono has been ordained and officially inducted on 13 July 2025 to be the Head of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Tanzania (KKKT), Diocese of Mwanga. The precious event has been held with great respect and attended by various religious and government leaders.

Among the main attendees is the Head of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania, Bishop Dr. Alex Gehazi Malasusa, together with bishops from all 28 dioceseses of KKKT, pastors, and thousands of believers from different places.

The guest of honor at the event is Honorable Kassim Majaliwa, the Prime Minister of the Union Republic of Tanzania. Addressing believers and church leaders, the Hon. Prime Minister encouraged religious leaders to continue collaborating with the Government in the fight against drug abuse, as well as building strong moral foundations for the youth.

When children come to church, they receive spiritual discipline and discipline, which empowers them to become good citizens and able to rebuke evil in the society. “It is important for parents to raise their children in faith foundations by encouraging them to attend services and participate in church life,” said Prime Minister Majaliwa.
