Bishop Yohana Nzelu

Pastor Yohana Nzelu. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania – South East of Lake Victoria Diocese through its general assembly elected Reverend Yohana Ernest Nzelu on 12/12/2020 at Agape Parish in West district (Kahama) to be the Assistant to the Bishop. He formerly worked as a Community Development Coordinator at East of Lake Victoria Diocese before going for Theological studies. Reverend Yohana Nzelu has been a Pastor for fifteen years, he has been serving as a District Pastor for eight years and a headmaster at Mwadui Lutheran Secondary School for ten years.

On December 10, 2022, Pastor Yohana Nzelu was elected to serve as Bishop of the SELVD and will serve for  ten years.
