On April 30 2023, our brother Dr. Yohana Nzelu was consecrated as the second Bishop of South East of Lake Victoria Diocese of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (SELVD/ELCT) at its Ebenezer Cathedral in Shinyanga. Following his installation, another brother of ours, Dr. Daniel Mono was made Assistant to Bishop. I get to bring greetings from both Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne (CTSFW), particularly President Lawrence Rast, as well as Lutheran Leadership Development Program of International Lutheran Council (LLDP/ILC). What a great occasion it was! We thank the Lord for SELVD’s founding bishop Dr. Emmanuel Makala for his marvelous 10 years of service. And we pray for the Lord’s richest blessings on the new generation of men of God. 2 Cor 2:14-17. Congratulations!
